[25 Dec 2009|05:20pm] gusterrhoid Woooo! Lovely weather we're having, eh? I just started packing stuff up for moving. I hope the weather is not shit ass nasty then! I HAVE to be down there the 1st to pay rent! So, the highlight of right now is still my iPod. I love that thing! haha. Uhmmm also, I had found an old Montgomery Ward sewing machine on craigslist and sent the link to my mom saying that I wanted something like that eventually, and I sent it like two months ago, and she got it for me! Woohoo! I also got an assortment of silverware, a thinger to make capuccinos and hot chocolate foamy, hot chocolate mix, first season of TNG, a Dali watch (Audrey always spends waaaaaaay too much money on Christmas!), some Dali posters and a Mucha poster. Dad got me some practical stuff, like a wind-up flashlight and a bike lock. All in all, pretty good day. We were supposed to go over to my aunts for lunch-ish, but my dad didn't want to put the chains on the car. I'm going to order opal labret studs for my nostrils! Yay! Oh, my aunt gave my dad a framed picture of Dodge last night, and he almost started crying. I guess that he realized that we didn't have as many pictures of Dodge as we thought that we did. Hmm.... I hope that Dax adjusts well to where I'm moving. Having a husky is going to be a shock to her for sure, and I wonder what she'll do around the kitten! I took down all (most) of my posters and my room looks freaking weird now. post comment

[15 Dec 2009|02:31pm] gusterrhoid All I wanna do is knit! My tests are stupidly timed this semester- one's at night, so I feel like I'm whiling away the day, and yet can't make myself study, ha. The other is on Friday, at 7:30 am. I have some issues with a-holes scheduling tests that friggin early. I DON'T GET UP THAT EARLY EVEN TO GO TO THE CAT HOUSE! GRRR On the topic of the Cat House akgaskhgaksjhgdksajhgasklj! Cute fucking teensy ass little grey stripey kittens. WANT WANT WANT WANT! I'm gonna miss the Cat House :( Let's see what else.... oh! I was rather happy, in high school I weighed between 125-128, and now I weigh 117! Weehoo! Still, I have this (probably unhealthy and unrealistic) goal of being 110. I am so excited to be able to read again, something other than school books. I might go back and reread Good Omens (Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett), and I for sure need to read the Graveyard Book (Neil Gaiman). I think that American Gods (Neil Gaiman) might be in for a re-read too. As well as the Satanic Verses (Salman Rushdie). Those all are some of my favoritefavoritefavorite books ever. Any recommendations? I really like books with at least some fantasy/supernatural twist to them. But then again, I also really like (some) historical fiction (The Lovers of Algeria) and looooooooooooooooove Infidel (Ayaan Hirsi Ali). 2 comments|post comment

[14 Dec 2009|02:53am] gusterrhoid GODDAMMIT Dax is a little fucking piggy. I put food out at night so that she won't wake me up at 6 am, like she does, for more food. SHE EATS IT AS SOON AS I PUT IT OUT. And I've tried different amounts. It's not just lil amounts. If I leave an extra lot out, she eats it all. She is a piggy mcpig pigster. I am not letting her get fat! Lindsey and I watched some.... interesting movies tonight haha And knit for houuuuuuuuuurs!
